Los Angeles / Barnsdall Art Park
With stunning views overlooking the City, Barnsdall Art Park welcomes Angelenos—21 years and older (this includes babies) —to sip wine, picnic and watch the sunset for another not-to-be-missed season of wine tasting at the iconic cultural destination. Marking its 10th season and attracting sellout crowds, the renowned Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tastings—the Foundation’s signature fundraising event—returns to the hill on May 25. The opening night will feature a special Q&A with Pulitzer Prize winning food critic Jonathan Gold and Chef Daniel Humm in partnership with the LATimes Food Bowl. Daniel is the co-owner of Make It Nice, a hospitality group that currently includes Eleven Madison Park, NoMad New York, NoMad Los Angeles, and Made Nice in New York City. Over the course of his career, Eleven Madison Park has received numerous accolades, including four stars from The New York Times, seven James Beard Foundation Awards (including Outstanding Chef, Outstanding Service, and Outstanding Restaurant in America), three Michelin Stars, and the #1 spot on the list of the World's 50 Best Restaurants.

Ongoing partner Silverlake Wine will curate their fine selections of boutique artisanal wines and there will be rotating food trucks on offer each week. Music will be presented by KCRW’s DJs and this year’s series will also feature several globally-themed evenings, matching food & wine, music and the NoMad Truck with Milk Bar.

Taking place on the West Lawn from May 25 through August 31 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, tickets are $45 for a tasting and $60 for a tasting + tour of Frank Lloyd Wright’s UNESCO-nominated Hollyhock House with tour times at 5:45, 6:15, 6:45, 7:15 p.m. Los Angeles Municipal Gallery will be open during the tastings for the public to view the latest exhibitions.
