Scratch Bar & Kitchen will celebrate its fifth anniversary in Los Angeles with a multicourse tasting menu overseen by Phillip Frankland Lee and Margarita Kallas-Lee. Joining the Lees are several chefs they have befriended over the years who will each create a dish for the evening's menu. They include Ted Hopson (the Bellwether), Vinson Petrillo (Zero cafe and bar), James Trees (Esther’s Kitchen), Timothy Hollingsworth (Otium), Steve Samson (Sotto, Rossoblu), Dakota Weiss (Sweetfin Poké), Amar Santana (Vaca, Broadway by Amar Santana), Mario Alberto (Tallula’s), Luke Reyes (9th St Ramen, La Hoja) and Michael Bryant (Fellow).

Dinner service begins at 5 p.m., with the last seating at 8:30 p.m. After dinner service has been completed, starting at 11 p.m., sister restaurant Woodley Proper (next door to Scratch Bar & Kitchen) will host an after-party with snacks and with guest bartenders making specialty cocktails. Those participating in the multicourse tasting menu will have access to the after-party; those wanting to attend only the after-party can buy tickets at scratchbarla.com for $35 a person.
