Join Slow Food L.A. for an evening with California native and James Beard Award-winning author Nancy Singleton Hachisu. Hachisu has lived in Japan since 1988, where she is active in the artisanal-food movement and a prominent advocate for preserving Japan’s disappearing food traditions. At this event, she will demonstrate recipes from her new book, “Japan: The Cookbook,” using ingredients from the Santa Monica farmers market.
