Chef Josef Centeno will team up with Nancy Singleton Hachisu, author of “Japan: The Cookbook” for a collaborative dinner that highlights various flavors of Japan. The five-course tasting menu price includes a signed cookbook, and there’s an optional wine pairing for $65. Hachisu, a native Californian and James Beard Award nominee, has lived in Japan since 1988, where she is active in the artisanal-food movement and a prominent advocate for preserving Japan’s disappearing food traditions.
