Join Food Bowl in our efforts to combat food insecurity in Los Angeles. Food Bowl supports The L.A. Times Community Fund, where you can give back to nonprofits working in the community addressing hunger and food insecurity. Your support creates a lifetime of opportunity for others. Donations to the L.A. Times Community Fund’s Food Insecurity project enable Food Bowl to make substantial contributions to non-profit organizations like Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Project Angel Food, World Central Kitchen, No Us Without You, and more.

The LA Regional Food Bank has been fighting hunger since 1973, and in that time, has provided more than 1.2 billion meals to those in need in LA County. Amid the economic crisis caused by the Coronavirus pandemic, the Food Bank's distribution has surged 70% as even more children, seniors, families, and individuals need food assistance.
