Third Annual FOOD BOWL Returns in May

The citywide food festival will feature hundreds of events across Los Angeles with a mix of local favorites and world-renowned chefs. 

A monthlong festival in May celebrating the city’s dynamic food scene. Spanning 31 days of food, Food Bowl will feature many of Los Angeles’ best chefs and restaurants alongside world-renowned chefs in rare local appearances. This years guests include Enrique Olvera (Pujol, Mexico), Daniela Soto-Innes (Cosme, USA), Norma Listman and Saqib Keval (Masala y Maiz, Mexico) Gaggan Anand (Gaggan, Thailand), Virgilio Martínez (Central, Peru), Koji Kimura (Sushi Kimura, Japan), Angela Dimayuga (The Standard International, USA), Rodolfo Guzmán (Boragó, Chile), Musa Dağdeviren (Çiya, Turkey), Andrew McConnell (Cutler & Co., Australia), Dominique Crenn (Atelier Crenn, USA), Yu Bo (Yu’s Family Kitchen, China), JP Anglo, (Sarsá, Philippines), Tom Cunanan (Bad Saint, USA) and Charles Michel (Oxford University Research Laboratory, Great Britain).

 The full line-up of dining events, panel discussions, culinary collaborations, volunteer projects and other food-inspired happenings will be announced April 1.


Los Angeles is a giant mosaic of cuisines, cultures, people and ingredients from across the world. FOOD BOWL brings together the world’s top chefs and L.A.’s best restaurants, bars, cafes, hotels and markets, and adds a new celebrated “bowl” to one of the most important food cities in America. We hope you will join us for 31 days of food and encourage all Angelenos to discover and support L.A.’s incredible restaurants and chefs.
