FOOD BOWL NIGHT MARKET

Food Bowl Night Market is an outdoor celebration of L.A.’s diverse food scene held over five nights at Grand Park in downtown Los Angeles. Each night will feature dozens of food vendors, pop-ups, chef collaborations, art installations and live music curated by the Food staff of the Los Angeles Times. Admission to Night Market is free.   

There will also be special ticketed and themed areas at Night Market: Collaboration Lab (May 8); Taco Tribute (May 9); Fried Chicken Party (May 10); L.A.'s Best Burger and Dumplings, Noodles and Rice (May 11); and All-Star BBQ (May 12). Purchase tickets on "Events" page.

Is this a FREE event or a PAID event?

The Night Market is a FREE event! There are ticketed experiences throughout the weekend that take place on the Night Market Grounds, tickets can be purchased online.

Are KIDS allowed?

Yes, all are welcome!

Are DOGS allowed?

Dogs are allowed in the park but must be on a leash at all times. A dog run on the Event Lawn (near the Spring Street entrance) offers an off-leash area for dogs and their owners

What are the restrictions re the drinking of alcohol?

You can drink and dine together throughout the park but cannot take out alcohol from each block. If you are consuming an alcoholic beverage, you must be inside the boundaries of the Night Market.

Where do visitors enter the park for the Night Market?

The Night Market’s main entry will be located on Broadway, between 1st Street and Temple Street

What are the Night Market hours?

Wednesday, May 8: 5pm – 10pm
Thursday, May 9: 5pm – 10pm
Friday, May 10: 5pm – 11pm
Saturday, May 11: 1pm – 11pm
Sunday, May 12: 1pm – 7pm

Where can I park?

Parking is available in Lot 10 with entrances on Broadway and Hill Street between First and Temple Streets (in the middle of the park).

How do I get there?

Visitors to Grand Park are encouraged to ride the Metro Red or Purple Lines to Civic Center/Grand Park Station. In addition, parking is available in Lot 10 with entrances on Broadway and Hill Street between First and Temple Streets (in the middle of the park). Parking in this lot is $3.50 per 15 minutes, or $20.00 maximum per day, and $10.00 per day for weekends, evenings and special events. Parking is also available in Lot 17 at Olive and First Streets (enter from Olive Street). Parking in this lot is $3.50 every 15 minutes until 4:30 p.m., with a maximum of $20. There is a flat fee of $10 after 4:30 p.m., on weekends and for special events. Parking is also available in nearby lots.

How much are tickets?

The Night Market is a FREE event.

What items are prohibited?

Unauthorized solicitation, outside alcoholic beverages, narcotics or illegal drugs, drones, bathing in pools or fountain, camping, cooking, damage to plants or property, entering upper fountain pools, feeding animals, firecrackers or explosives, firearms, fires, littering (including pet waste), overnight lodging, public intoxication, rollerblading, skateboarding, no smoking (including vaporizers), tripods, unauthorized driving or parking, unauthorized vending, unleashed animals, and weapons.

What will happen due to poor weather?

The show will go on! The event will go ahead RAIN or SHINE unless we are informed by authorities that the event must cease due to dangerous and unforeseeable circumstances.

Can I recycle at the park?

Yes. Visitors will find recycling bins located throughout the park.
