See the official presentation of the prestigious L.A. Times Gold Award to 2024 winner Mariscos Jalisco, for helping make taco culture an essential part of L.A.’s culinary landscape. Visit Chef Raul Ortega and his truck onsite Friday for bites of their signature dishes.

Baroo

See the official presentation of the coveted L.A. Times Restaurant of the Year to 2024 winners Kwang Uh and Mina Park from Baroo, for exemplifying the future of SoCal dining. They’ll offer tastes of their signature seven-course “cycle of life” tasting menu in the Baroo lounge all weekend.

The acclaimed chef, food content creator (“Last Meals,” “Food Fears,” “Will It?”), podcast host (“A Hot Dog Is a Sandwich”) and best-selling cookbook author will be talking about “The Mythical Cookbook” and how to cook deliciously, eat happily and live Mythically. Book signing to follow.
